This is the card I came up with using Authentique's Genuine collection and a few CTMH supplies:
The banners are cork, and I cut them from larger pieces of the Color Ready Evergreen Shapes. The sentiment is from the Words of Comfort stamp set. I have never inked the Color Ready Seam Binding Ribbon with outdoor denim ink, but boy, did I like the result. As long as I was sponging, I distressed the edges of all the pieces with outdoor denim.
Thanks for stopping by today!

This is beautiful. Unfortunately, this is the week I have to use 2 of mine. One of my father's cousins passed away mid-week and then my husband's Grandfather passed away Friday night. Their funerals are a day apart. The ironic thing is that Grandpa was at Pearl Harbor (Navy) when it was attacked, and he died 71 years to the day afterwards. God has a plan for all of us, and this has never been more clear to me than now. (Don't feel sad; Grandpa lived to be 95!)
Beautiful, peaceful card Brenda. I need to make more Sympathy cards to have on hand too. This is a wonderful inspiration.
