Happy Times Meets the Stamp of the Month

There are so many different colors in the Happy Times paper packet, and I feel like I've just scratched the surface!  Truly, I have been working with this paper packet all month, and I have yet to get tired of it!

There is a wide-open sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches, and I thought that it was perfect for a bouquet of flowers from the Happy Times stamp set.  I love this dotted sheet from Happy Times!  I found the perfect sentiment on the May Stamp of the Month, Celebrate.

Thanks for popping today!  I always appreciate your visits!

Life is Good

There are so many ways to look at the Happy Times paper packet because there are so many patterns.  Today I pulled out the gradient sheet.

Do you see how the background goes from darker on the bottom to lighter on the top?  I love that piece of paper!  The white dots you see over the background as well as the "life is good" sentiment come from the Picture My Life White Overlay packet.  Yes, you can just slip them over a photo in a pocket, and that is what they were made for.  However, isn't it more fun to take them outside the box and use them on a card?

Always remember this....
Every single product in the book has a use outside of what it may seem to be intended for!

I used the Happy Times stamp set with sorbet and cotton candy ink to make the flowers and put lovely flamingo dots in the middle.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Golden Flowers and Happy Times

Welcome to the Rose Blossom Blog Hop!  We are so glad that you are following the hop because we've got a lot of fun things to show you with Happy Times!  Happy Times is the May Special, and boy, is it special!  When you place a $60 order, you receive this lovely paper packet FREE!

Now the hop is a great big circle, so all you need to do is start and just keep following the circle.

I created a layout for you.  I think there are so many beautiful patterns in this paper packet that I want to mix some of them so you could so how wonderfully they go together.  (I didn't have a photo ready yet, so I apologize for the blank photo mat.)

I used 6 patterns from the Happy Times paper packet to make this layout.  I absolutely love the stamp set that Close To My Heart is offering this month to go with the paper packet.  I stamped the flower with Versamark and heat embossed them with gold embossing powder.  Aren't they pretty?

Now it's time to hop over to Lynn!  I KNOW her artwork is going to be amazing!!

Take a peek at the FREE layout workshop I designed and am offering by clicking on the Happy Times tab at the top of my blog!

And then don't forget about the over-the-top fabulous album special so that you have a new album to store your pages!  (And don't forget your page protectors and label holders!)

Genuine

Recently, my friend and downline Kimberly had an online crop for National Scrapbooking Day.  I was so sad that I couldn't play along, but the good news is that she is the owner of a challenge blog called Sketches in Thyme.  So I stopped everything today to create a page with fabulous sketch #198.  I think you should play, too!

These are my very favorite people in life - my husband and my son.  I loved using this new paper Florence and it's matching complements and sequins for this page.  It's hard to tell that it's foil tape, but I've also used the new rose gold foil tape.  The kraft complements have rich peacock, white, and rose gold foil accents.

Truly, with these two men....this is where my story begins.

Thanks for stopping by today, and I hope that you have a most wonderful weekend!

Happy Mother's Day!

I am so grateful to have this day to celebrate my mother.  She is a wonderful woman filled with strength, courage, determination, and lots of love for all of her children and grandchildren.

I used Happy Times to make her gift this year.  It was the perfect paper for her, and I simply covered a frame.  She lives in apartment now, but in the home we grew up, she loved her flower beds!

And out of all the Moms in the world, I am really glad she is mine!

Sweet Memory

There are so many good things going on in May!  What do you think of the Happy Times?

I've got a card for you today using the paper and stamp set.  I love the flowers in this stamp set!!

It's easy to make your background with this stamp set.  I absolutely love this!  I stamped the pomegranate flowers on the base and then fussy cut another set to slightly pop them up.  I am thinking you will see me create a lot with this stamp set this month.  It's just so pretty!!

Thanks for stopping in today!  I appreciate you!!

Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the Rose Blossom Blog Hop!  We are highlighting the May Stamp of the Month, Celebrate with Cake.  This hop is a circle, so no matter where you start you will end up at the beginning.   I know you are going to be inspired when you follow the list because I have seen sneak peeks!

I layered some images to make this lovely cake topped with roses.  I used watercolor pencils to blend colors for the icing and roses.  This could be celebrating anything - anniversary, birthday, wedding.  You could change the color of the icing to customize the cake!

Now it's time to move on to Lynn!  I just know that she has wonderful things for you!

The stamp of the month is always just $5 with a $50 purchase.  What a deal!
