I lvoe to play along at Keep it Simple! One of the reasons is because it's a true challenge for me to keep my paper crafting simple. I just always want to add that little bit more! The challenge this week is evergreen, and here is my card using a lovely stamp from Penny Black.
I used Bo Bunny Noel papers, and I embossed the tree. It really is very easy to get two different embossing powders on one stamp such as I did here. First, stamp with Versamark. Then pour one color at a time. On this image, I poured CTMH Olive embossing powder on the tree and tapped it off. Then I poured Judikins tinsel embossing powder on the flying snow. The sentiment is from CTMH's Evergreen set.

Have a Wonderful Day
This is my second post for the day, so be srue to scroll down for my Sarah Hurley Cahllenges reveal!
For this card, I used the Card Crazy #4 sketch from Sassy Lil' Sketches. Every Monday in October, they did a sketch in honor of World Card Making Day. It was so much fun, and I am always so inspired by them!
The card that I made also fits two more challenges:
For my card, I used a CTMH stamp, patterned paper (Felicity), and Sorbet cardstock. Other items used are Martha Stewart punch and flowers; May Arts ribbon; Recollections gems.

A Couple of Cards
Last night I started to feel like I was getting a cold, so I sat down for a little creative time. Unfortunately it didn't fend off the cold, but I sure had fun! I wanted to play in a couple of challenges this week. This first card is for Sassy Lil Sketches Card Crazy #3 challenge. When you play along with the Card Crazy challenges in October, you have an opportunity to win a mini kit from CupCards{to go}. Here is the sketch and my card:
I found this cute We R Memory Keepers 4th of July paper, but thought it made a great birthday card. The stamp is Hero Arts. This card also works for the anything goes challenge over at Party Time Tuesdays.
My next card is for the challenge at Keep it Simple in which they wanted "charming" cards. I used my Big Kids Slice card to cut the dress, and then I made it into a card. The paper and sticker are Cosmo Cricket's DeLovely.

A Card to Share
This week I was very intrigued by a color combination over at Just Inspirational. The recipe for the challenge is to use red, gold, ribbon, and gems. I don't very often use gold, so I thought it would fun to give this a whirl. I was able to combine this with a few other challenges as well - 4 Crafty Chicks (distressing), Keep it Simple (stars), and Sarah Hurley Challenges (flowers).
I used the script folder in my Cuttlebug to emboss the paper. Because I used CTMH's white core paper, I was able to sand it off and get a nice script look. The large star is embossed with gold embossing powder. I thought this card could actually be used any time of the year or even for Christmas.
Items used: CTMH cranberry cardstock and ribbon, gold embossing powder, Wishing Star stamp set; The Paper Company gold shimmer paper; Cuttlebug script folder; Recollections gems; Bazzill and Bridal Collection flowers

Thanks So Much
Here's a very fast and simple thank you card. Keep it Simple is looking for thank you cards this week, so it works well for that challenge! Using this print paper from CTMH added some good interest to this card.

Happy Christmas
I had so much fun putting this card together! It was fast and simple, and it will make a great holiday greeting. I used the sketch from Heart 2 Heart Challenges:
It's always so natural and fun for me to use Close To My Heart products. The colors blend perfectly, and I love that I have ink for every exclusive color. (Once a consultant, always a fan that spreads the good about CTMH!!)
I combined this challenge with the Weekly Christmas Card Challenge (distressing) and Keep it Simple (bling). Loads of distressing on this card and 45 bitty sparkles! They are so much fun!
Items used (All CTMH unless noted): Jingle Level 2; A Little Bit of Everything stamp set; White Daisy Bigger Brads; Juniper Ink; Bitty Sparkles; Edge Distresser; Spellbinders Oval and Scalloped Oval

Wishing You the Joy, Hope, and Wonder
I wanted to participate in a few challenges, so I sat down and put this card together this morning. I used Cherie's sketch for the 14th at Sassy Lil' Sketches:
This card also works for Christmas Card Challenges (trees) and for Keep it Simple (swirls).
I fussy cut the trees from Bo Bunny's Tis the Season. There are swirls built in on the trees and paper - isn't that cool?! Sometimes we can look right to our paper for the best treasures! I've used a Penny Black sentiment to complete the card.
This one is going right into my box for Operation Write Home. If you feel like making some extra Christmas cards, they are due to OWH by October 30th. Also, have you been to the Operation Write Home Stars and Stamps blog? There is always SO MUCH going on over there. Tutorials, digi images, and loads of fun challenges. Head on over there when you have a minute - you'll be glad you did!
There are several blogs having Christmas card challenges, so I will add this card to those challenges, too!

Fussy and Fancy - Christmas Colors
2 Sisters Challenge Blog - Christmas for OWH

Christmas in August
I stopped at an independent stamping store yesterday, and I found some beautiful Penny Black Christmas stamps. I sat down to play with them right away, and here is what I came up with.
Isn't that embossing powder pretty? There is not much to this card, but the stamps are so pretty!! I used Fancy Pants Christmas Magic paper; Judikins White Diamond embossing powder; Penny Black stamps
Click on the image if you want to see a little more sparkle!
EDIT: Now my blogging friend Laurel (go visit - she is amazing and has been a tremendous source of inspiration for me!) let me know that this card fits some challenges, so I am going to enter it into Keep it Simple!, Paper Sundaes, and Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge. I am so glad she tells me about these places because I am always looking for new challenge sites!! Yippee!!
