Flower Market Blog Hop

Welcome to the Rose Blossom Blog Hop!  We are so glad that you joined us for this special hop!  Tonight we are bringing artwork from the Flower Market Cricut Collection to you.  As always, this hop is a great big circle.  If you started elsewhere, that means you are joining me from Sue's blog.  You'll just keep following the big circle until you are back to where you started.

There is so much more to this Cricut collection than just flowers!  There are leaves, branches, vases, and themes to cover every season of the year.  Not to mention, there is an excellent font!  I am quickly finding this cartridge a go-to for pages, cards, and home decor.

I really like fall home decor.  The colors are so soothing, and it's such a joy to have these things around the house.  So I grabbed a 6" wood pallet and went to work creating!

Aren't these cuts fun when put on wood?  "Blessing" is a wood element I had in my stash, and the twine is from the Rustic Home Ribbon Pack.

To make things very easy for you, here's the design space file for this project:

I used Liquid Glass to adhere the pieces to wood, and 3-D and Thin Foam Tape to attach the sunflowers.  If you separate the twine in the Rustic Home ribbon pack,  you can get a nice messy bow!

Now it's time to move on to Lynn's lovely blog!  I know you will find great inspiration there!!

On the second layout, we are using Sea Glass with printed vellum, gold, and ribbon.

Jeepers Creepers!! Halloween is Around the Corner!!

You know as soon as the leaves start falling that kids are getting excited about Halloween.  I've brewed up a few cards to give those kiddos (big "kiddos," too!) using Jeepers Creeper and Monstrous Halloween.

The first two cards make use of the journaling cards in Jeepers Creepers.  If you click on the photo and open it up, you will see that I've added Liquid Glass to the monsters.  I thought that gave them a slimy look (for lack of a better word!).

Such adorable paper and stamps!  Don't let this one pass you by!!

Rose Blossoms Blog Hop

Welcome to the Rose Blossom Blog Hop!  We've got a short hop this time, but you are going to love the inspiration we have!!  We are showing you the October Stamp of the Month, Yuletide Joy.

I have designed one card, but I am going to show it to you three different colors.  You decide which one you like!  I've dry embossed with the Confetti Stars folder and then heat embossed the large star in this set.

Isn't this fun?  Simply stamp the star in Versamark.  Pour silver embossing powder on a portion of the star, and then finish by adding gold embossing powder to the other part of the star.  Heat emboss, and you get this cool effect!

My next color combination is black, silver, and white.  This isn't very traditional, but kind it's kind of elegant!

Finally, the last card is traditional red, white, and silver.

Now I'd love for you to head over to Marg's blog.  She surely has something gorgeous to show you!
