Gratitude

Oh, the sketch is just so lovely at Cardabilities this week!  It's a windy and cold afternoon, and it's a good day to sit and play in my craft room.  

The warm colors of fall are my favorite to work with.  The light cashmere print of the Huntington paper is the same color as my craft room walls.  This color brings me such peace, and I enjoy creating in a room with this color surrounding me.

November Club Pages

This month we are working with Huntington in scrapbook club.  Jerry and I recently visited the North Shore in Minnesota, and the photos are perfect for this paper packet!

I never get tired of the waves on the shore of Lake Superior.  For both Jerry and I, there is much peace near  a lake.  We visited Tettegouche State park and walked the trail to the High Falls.  What a great walk!  In a 20-minute span while we were walking, we experienced sun, sleet, rain, snow, and then sun again.  So these are just a few of the photos we took.  You will see many more in the days to come!

November Card Kit - Huntington Gratitude Cards

I told you all about my Christmas Card Class yesterday, and today I am bringing you my November card kit!  This kit will be available through November 6th (or until all 50 kits are sold), and I will mail all of the kits on November 8th.

I have been asked if I have a subscription for my card kits.  I do!  Simply let me know you would like to receive a monthly invoice.  I send all the monthly invoices on the 1st of each month.  That makes it easy so that you don't have to worry about getting in touch with me.  It's all about making your paper crafting time faster, simpler, and easier!

I've used Huntington this month to make one Thanksgiving and three thank you cards.  The kit will also includes the necessary amount of our beautiful Bronze Shimmer Trim.

Always Grateful

I was so honored to be a guest designer at ABC Challenges this week!  Their current challenge is to use three patterned papers, and I pulled out my Huntington to create this card.  The flower and leaves are from the Happy Autumn stamp set.  I absolutely love that autumn rose!

I used the sketch from Cardabilities for this card, and I am also going to enter this card into:

Blessed

I was so excited to work on the new Cardabilities sketch!  

There was something about this one that really inspired me to stamp and play with paper.

This sketch was so well constructed that it was easy to follow this one closely.  I made the banner and accordion-fold flowers using the Artiste cartridge.  I simply loved the idea of a cluster of these flowers!  I've used Huntington paper, antiqued gold embellishments, and some bronze shimmer trim.  The stamp set is a new fall stamp called Count Your Blessings.

Step Cards Class

Come to make 4 steps cards for the upcoming season!  Class attendees will make two Thanksgiving cards and two Christmas cards.  Once you learn how to make the center step and side step cards, you will want to make the all the time!!  You do not need to bring anything as everything is included in the class fee including instructions so that you will be able to re-create these cards.
