Embellish Your Life

One of the perks of joining Close To My Heart this month is receiving a FREE Cricut cartridge or $100 in FREE product when you sell $350 in your first 30 days!  That is just so awesome in itself, right?  But the rewards don't end there!

I used the card bases from the Dapper Giraffe Cut Above card kit.  I love all that flying confetti!  The banners and sentiments from the Straight To The Top stamp sets are stamped with Hollyhock ink, and I've used the Pear Fundamentals Assortment to embellish.  The bows, clips, and glittered pieces are perfect with these card bases!

I made two of each of these cards, and they will be going in the Silent Auction at our Operation Smile crop in October.  More news about that to follow, but if you are local, I hope you can make it!!

Just Be Your Beautiful Self (and How You Can Get This Card!)

I liked the sketch at Mojo Monday this week and thought I'd give it a whirl.  Do you have a whole bunch of wash tape in your stash?  It's hard to resist in all its cute patterns, so I am constantly trying to find new ways to use it.  I created the background of this card with the thin Thistle roll in our Limeade Washi Pack.  I had some scraps of the retired Brush paper, so that is the canary floral that you see.  I used the Thistle sheet in Penelope for a background piece and the Cricut circle.  Thistle glitter paper, twine, and glitter dots finished off the card nicely.

April is a fabulous month here at Close To My Heart. and it's the best time to become a Close To My Heart consultant!  (READ ALL THE INFO HERE)
