Birthday Girl

As promised, I came back quickly so that you wouldn't have to look at the fish hook layout too long!  This is one-page layout that I created for both Scrapbook Generation Challenge #6 and BPC Creative Crop Challenge #2.

I have really enjoyed working with the NSD challenges yesterday and today.  I am trying to get my 2012 album completed, and this is helping.  Now lest you think I am caught up on my scrapping, I am no where new caught up.  I have many of Shane's toddler photos, camping photos, Shane's school album, and the years 1993 - 2000.  That doesn't even include vintage photos!  There is always something to scrap.

Ok, for Scrapbook Generation, I had to use 5 things out of the several items they named.  I used baker's twine, brads, chipboard (letters), metal charm, washi tape, and glitter.  Well, I was an over-achiever and used 6!  The challenge at Big Picture was to put photo pockets, and I used flip flaps to store photos and journaling.  Such a fun product!

Now, I have a lot more scrapping to do, and it's already going on 7:30 pm! There's just not enough time in a day!!

Nephews

I had a couple of awesome pictures of my nephews, and I could hardly wait to scrap them.  I had to find some sports-type paper to use with all of my CTMH goodies, so I went with Bella Blvd's Making the Team.  I thought that all of my embellishments complimented it beautifully!

I love these two boys.  They are both so kind and caring - truly great teenagers!

Items that can be found on my website:
Pennant Alphabet
Honey Mini Medleys
Black Baker's Twine
Milepost Shapes (Banners)
Lagoon Mini Medleys (retired)

Thanks for stopping by today!

Going Places...Come to My Open House!

Ok, if I don't show you a sneak peek from the new Close To My Heart Spring/Summer Idea Book, I just might burst!  This book goes live on February 1st, and you are going to love it!  The artwork is beyond phenomenal, and the paper packets are awesome!  Well, I'll let you be the judge as I share a little Cruisin' with you.

Amazing, right?  This paper is so much fun!!  Along with this paper, I've used the matching foil image stickers (are you lovin' that gas tank?!) Pennant Alpha stamp set (available now!), the upcoming April stamp of the month (you will be seeing a lot of this!), and baker's twine (we have 8 colors starting on February 1st!).

If you are local, plan on coming to see this layout and all the other papers up close at my Open House on Saturday, January 28th.  The hours are 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.  I'll have four make and takes for you, new product preview, class sign ups, and I'll choose a mystery hostess!

If you are long distance, you can click on the button on my left sidebar to order your Spring/Summer Idea Book.  I send you a $5.00 coupon to use on your next order!
