Year >> Noted...Just a Few More Days!!

I don't want you to miss out on the FABULOUS Year >> Noted promotion, so I am going to share artwork from this collection the next few days.  Today I have a layout to share that will work perfectly for the front page and last page of my albums.

The brilliant artwork team at Close To My Heart designed these layouts, and I simply scraplifted them!  I am always struggling for front and back pages for my memory albums, and I thought these were a perfect way to finish up a book.  I love the designs, don't you?  The only things that I've used other than the $5.00 Year >> Noted kit are my inks - Sorbet, Glacier, and Desert Sand.

When you place a $50 or more order, you can buy one of two kits.  The $5.00 kit does not contain the mini album, but it's only $10 for the kit with the mini!  You know, don't forget about my "3000 Likes" special.  When you place a $50 or more order, you automatically receive a free stamp set from in the mail!!  (See the right top sidebar for more information.)

If you'd like to create this layout for your memory book, here's is the Corporate artwork.  Have fun!!

Sassitude

Scrapbooking is my favorite hobby.  I love to record memories, and if  I see pictures that inspire me I will sit down and put them to paper.  From the minute I saw these photos of my nephew's little girl, I couldn't get them off my mind.  She is such a cutie!!

For this layout, I grabbed Brushed paper and all the matching embellishments.  Can I just say that I love Close To My Heart simply because I can easily match everything?  I used a whole package of the Brushed Assortment - those flowers are so great!!  "Sassitude" comes from the Brushed Complements. Do you think there could be a better saying?    I used the Artbooking cartridge to cut the doily circle and photo mats.  Here's an up close of the embellishments.

Along with the Brushed Assortment, I used Pink Glitter Gems, Pink Glitter paper, and Pixie Twine.  The "irresistible" stamp is from the Operation Smile stamp called You're the Bomb.  All of these items can be found on my website.

Thanks for stopping in!  I hope this layout has inspired you to put some memories to paper!

Love Banner

On January 31st, I am having a Rose Blossom team meeting and the theme of our meeting is love.  I thought this banner would be a fantastic centerpiece for the artwork table.  I used Art Philosophy to cut the banner pieces from Heartstrings and hearts from pink glitter paper.  The accordion folds were cut from Heartstrings as well with the Artiste cartridge.  I found the art deco letters in Cricut Design Space and loved them for a Valentine project.  I used silver glitter paper for those.  A little tulle and some random embellishment finished off this project.  Here's a little close-up for you.

I give my team the opportunity to earn tickets for things they bring to or do at the team meeting.
One lucky team member will win this banner, and I can't wait to give it away!!

Hello - January Stamp of the Month

I have really loved the Stamp of the Month, This Moment.  I used a few stamps from the set to make this card.  I've circled them below:

Now it may not look like I used "remember this moment," but what I did was put the stamp on backwards.  That way I could get a fully inked banner with no words.

The diagonal striped piece that you see if from one of my favorite new sets, Assorted Edges.

Thank you so much for stopping in today!  I really appreciate your visits!!

Rose Blossom Year >> Noted Blog Hop

Welcome to the Rose Blossom Blog Hop!  We are going to share this month's special, Year >> Noted.  I know my team members have amazing artwork to share with you!  Now this hop is a big circle so no matter where you start, you can follow the loop.  In case you get lost, I've got a list of the seven blogs near the bottom of this post.

I wanted to show you a little something out of the box that you can do with the $5 Year >> Noted special.

What a pretty and cheery way to keep track of 2015!  I started with a Kraft Container as my base (they are a steal at just $3.95), and I adhered everything with Liquid Glass. (Just a little note - I will put all the dimensions for creating this project at the bottom of my post.) I grabbed the Dots Folder to emboss the light green paper to cover the container.  I used two cuts on the Artiste cartridge to make the flowers.  Aren't they lovely in this light orange?  There are hearts in two sizes on the gold foil sticker sheet in Year >> Noted, so I thought they made really fun leaves for the flowers.  A little gold bling gem in the center finished them off perfectly.

Of course, I had to designate that this container is for 2015, so  I let gold glitter paper tell the story.  But before adhering that, I wanted to add a rounded banner from Artfully Sent with some little gold foil sticker bows.  You'll see those in the next photos along with what I've created or the inside.  The stamp set that comes with Year >> Noted is perfect for creating little journaling cards that fit right inside the container.  These small cards also leave plenty of room for memorabilia.

Here is a photo of Year >> Noted.  You can purchase the kit or $5 with a $50 order or $10 with a $50 order if you'd like to include a kraft mini album.  I bet you'll see one of those along the way!

Now it's time to move on on to Lynn's blog!  I know she's designed something just wonderful to get your creative juices flowing!!

Should you get lost along the way, here are all the blogs:

Happy Valentine's Day

I have really, really been enjoying working with Heartstrings paper and all the things that coordinate with it.  I want to make sure that you see it often enough because this paper is only available until March 31st.  I want you to fall in love with Heartstrings!

What could be cuter than a typewriter tapping out a love note?  That typewriter is a sticker from the Heartstrings complements, and the "crush" flair is from the Heartstrings assortment.  The "Happy Valentine's Day" sentiment is from the Heartstrings Cardmaking Workshop, and the little puffy glittered hearts are from the Stuck on You Puffies assortment.

I hope this sweet little card made you smile! Thanks for stopping by today!

Heartstrings Layout

Heartstrings is just such beautiful paper.  I love the roses and romance in the designs.  Today I am going to show you the first of two layouts that we will be creating in February.

I was going to put photos on this, but don't you think this would be perfect for our 25th anniversary photos?  The colors at our wedding were red, black, and white, so I thought maybe a then and now photo would be wonderful.  This paper makes me want to re-do our whole wedding album.

It's. Just. So. Lovely.

Something that I want to tell you about Heartstrings is that it will only be available through March 31st.  You will want to buy it before it is gone!

Tomorrow, I will share the 2nd layout for February.  Be sure to check in because it is completely different!  On Saturday, I will have a link up so that you can purchase the February kit.

Thanks for stopping in today, my dear blogging friends!

Set of Cards

This morning I sat down with three piece of paper from the Chalk it Up paper packet and the Your Own Kind of Wonderful stamp set.  This is what I came up with.

I opened my Wishes how-to book, and just leafed through to ind patterns.  This made my creative time much less difficult!  It's so easy with Close To My Heart to reach for matching embellishments!  I grabbed my flaxen twine, durable triangle studs, and Chalk it Up epoxy hearts.  I put a clear sparkle on each butterfly and then snuck a little gold shimmer trim on each card.

It's so cold here today!  It is -3 degrees today with a -24 degree windchill.  These spring-like butterflies are just what I needed to brighten up the day!

Thanks for stopping in!!  I really appreciate your visits!!

Today You are You

I love Dr. Seuss so I was especially happy to find one of my favorite quotes in the Hopscotch Picture My Life cards.

I used 8 of the Hopscotch cards to make this step card, and I matted the layers with Indian Corn Blue cardstock.  The tallest layer is made up 4 cards.  I used the base card with flowers, but I wanted them to pop a little.  Because there are two of each card in a set, I grabbed the other one and fussy cut the flowers to pop.  The clouds and rainbow are from a 3x4 card, and so is "perfect."  I pulled out my remaining Smoothie buttons and brads (you can't hoard forever) for embellishment.  Three cards make up the second layer.  The circles are actually the centers from large flowers.  I used the Operation Smile stamp, You're the Bomb, for my stamped sentiment on the front fold.  I found the directions for this card HERE, and I altered the dimensions to suit my needs.

I haven't played along with challenges for quite some time, so I am going to enter this into the Heart 2 Heart - Old is New - challenge.

In case you don't remember the rest of the quote...

Thanks for popping in today!  I sure do appreciate your visits!!

Rose Blossom Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the Rose Blossom Blog Hop!  We are going to share the Stamp of the Month, This Moment.  I know my team members have fantabulous artwork to share with you!  Now this hop is a big circle so no matter where you start, you can follow the loop.  In case you get lost, I've got a list of the seven blogs at the bottom of this post.

We will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this year, and this stamp set along with Heartstrings was perfect for a mini album of our years together.  I don't really know the name of this  type of album.  I had a template album sitting on my shelf and really liked the style.

Don't you like the way it flaps one way and the other at the same time?  I'll share the cover as well as the inside so that you can see how I've used the stamp set.

I used black archival ink to stamp so that the black would be a rich color.

Here is the stamp of the month so that you can see the whole gorgeous set.  As always, the stamp of the month is just $5 with a $50 purchase.

Now it's time for you to hop over to Lynn's blog.  You are going to find something amazing over there!!  As you hop, I know everyone would really appreciate a little love in the comments!!
