Frosted Layout

During this time of the year, it can be really hard to carve out time to create.  But if you are anything like me, you NEED to stop and make something...anything.  I have been looking at a picture of Shane that we took on Thanksgiving, and I knew that was the one I wanted to scrap.

I based this loosely on the sketch from Stuck on U for this layout.  This page actually came together pretty quickly with the Artbooking cartridge.  The snowflake overlay game me a good background as well as extra snowflakes to complete the page.  I finished it off by adding loads of bling around the snowflakes.  This is Frosted paper, and I know you've hear me say it before, but this is just lovely paper!

Tomorrow is a day filled with house cleaning, wrapping, and cooking.  I would venture to say that many of you are doing some of those same things!  What a blessed time of the year this is when we can look forward to time with family and friends.  I hope you are having a wonderful week so far!

January Club Pages - Frosted

I can't believe I haven't posted since Sunday!  I have been busy making Christmas presents, doing last minute shopping, wrapping...and I bet all of you are doing the same!

In the midst of all of that, I created the January club pages.  We will be using Frosted paper.  I think this is easily my favorite paper from the Fall/Winter Idea Book.  It's just so peaceful and pretty!

We will be using the Frosted paper and coordinating stickease along with sparkle flourishes.  If you are long distance and would like a kit, you can purchase on here.  The kit will come pre-cut, pre-stamped and with full instructions to make it easy for you to create!

SOLD OUT!

I hope that you've had a good week so far and that you are looking forward to a most blessed Christmas week!

All Bundled Up

I have been busy making some Christmas items for a local Boutique, and this is one of the items I will have for sale.  I love making our bracket frames!  I used Frosted paper and stickease to complete the frame. I sanded down the edges of everything to make it look a little wintery.  I cut the paper for the frame with the Art Philosophy (it fits perfectly!), and I cut the poinsettias with the Artiste.  The twine is has got a metallic line in it, and I pulled it from my stash.  When I had everything clustered where I wanted it, I finished it off with some Stardust Glitter Gel.

I think I will enter this into some challenges:
Papercraft Star - Photo Inspiration
Shopping Our Stash - Holiday/Winter
Fantabulous Cricut - Beyond Red and Green
Heart 2 Heart - All Framed Up
Love to Create - Holiday Gift/3-D Project

Thanks for stopping in today, and may your day be full of blessings!

Deck the Halls

I am still working on my Christmas cards, and I saw a sketch at Digi Sketch that was really fun.

I've used four of the patterns from the Sparkle & Shine paper packet for this card.  I love the way they all mesh together perfectly!  I've sponged the edges of each piece with Slate ink.  The borders and sentiment box are from the Sparkle & Shine Dimensional Elements.  The buttons are from the Ruby Mini Medleys.  Now if you like the Sparkle & Shine paper and elements, be sure to order soon!  They are only available through December 31st or while supplies last.

Thank you for stopping in today, and I hope this is finding you blessed!

Scrapbook Generation Blog Hop

Welcome to the Scrapbook Generation Blog Hop for December!   You should have arrived from Pamela's blog, but if this is your first stop, you might like to start at the Scrapbook Generation blog and then hop through each link.  I've used one of their single sketches for this layout.

This is my amazing leader Karen , and this picture was taken on the Southern Caribbean Cruise in February.  She is so sweet, totally rocks (true story), and helped me dream big so that I could have a noteworthy and epic time on the Close To My Heart incentive trip!  Life is good!!

It was fun to pull from different stamp sets to create this layout!  I used a combination of five stamp sets (Charming Chevrons, Laughing Lola Workshop on the Go, All the Details, It's Your Day, and Whooo's Your Valentine) along with Laughing Lola paper.  I pulled out the Laughing Lola gold and black paisley of the paper to match our clothes.  That Charming Chevron set is awesome, and I love that you can also purchase chevron sparkle shapes that fit around them perfectly.  What a fun, fun added element to the page!

You can find the SG sketches in their books and as downloads in the SG store, and there is a free one every month in case you wanted to try it out.

Next on the hop is Sharlene. Be sure leave a comment on each blog as one lucky winner will receive a free sketch bundle of their choice from the store. The winner will be draw on December 9th, so you have one week to leave a comment.
