Cricut Flower Market Cartridge - Key 4

Today I want to share some artwork from Key 4 on page 4 of the Flower Market handbook.  I loved working with this key because the results were fun and unexpected to me.

I create a gift bag, trophy full of flowers, and a congrats medallion for a guest of honor to wear.

Before I tell you what I used, I want to share the Cricut Explore File with you.  You do need a Cricut Explore and Cricut Design Space to use this file.  You will need to copy, paste, and re-size the delphinium for the flowers in the trophy vase.  Maybe you only want a couple or maybe you'd like to fill it like I did!

Rose Blossom Blog Hop - Live Beautifully

Welcome to the Rose Blossom Blog Hop!  We are so grateful that you stop by to visit us on the 15th of the every month.  Today we want to share some ideas using Live Beautifully.  If you aren't familiar with the National Scrapbooking Month special, I will share the information at the end.

One of my favorite things to do is mix our products.  I wanted to show you how so many of our other products work really well with Live Beautifully.  I love this photo of my husband and mother-in-law.  One thing they love to do is to laugh together!

There are so many fabulous colors and textures in the Live Beautifully paper packet.  I used the color in my mother-in-law's jacket to choose my papers.  From there I just played by adding a little of this and a little of that.

Now it's time to move on to Lynn's blog!  I've seen a sneak peek, and I can't wait to go there myself!

Cricut Flower Market Cartridge - Key B

I wanted to share some artwork for Mother's Day from Key B on page 35 of the Flower Market handbook.  I so enjoyed working with this key!   I love Lily of the Valley.  They grow outside our bedroom window along with some trillium, and I love watching them progress every year.  I created a one-page layout with a matching card.  This layout would be lovely in a frame.

Before I tell you what I used, I want to share the Cricut file with you.  You do need a Cricut Explore and Cricut Design Space to use this.  This file will help you make this quickly and easily!

Product used to make the layout:

The same items were used on the card, and I think this photo shows you the depth of the lilies.  I popped the flowers up with Thin 3-D foam tape.  The "happy everything" sentiment is from one of stamp sets that comes with the Flower Market cartridge.

Want to know something fun?  I designed this artwork for a Close To My Heart video.  I am so honored and extremely happy that you will be able to watch Monica show you how to create these.  Enjoy!

Brenda's Little Dreamer Workshop and Summer Scrapbooking Club

I have put together a summer scrapbook club that will start this month and go through August.  I am SOOOOO excited about this for a several reasons:
  1. In Summer Club, we will be working with all four papers in Seasonal Expressions!  This helps you budget your scrapbooking purchases.
  2. At the end of club, you will have twelve 2-page layouts completed!  We will create three 2-page layouts each month.
  3. You will receive Memory Protectors for all your pages, and you will also use Cricut cuts, stamping, and Flip Flaps on some of your layouts!
  4. Everything is pre-cut in Summer Club!
  5. In August, you will receive a gift certificate for $10 to purchase whatever you'd like!
  6. Each month is a flat fee of $36.  If you like the stamp of the month, $30 of this will count toward your stamp of the month purchase!

Here are the dates.  Each class is at 6:30 pm in my home.
  • Tuesday, May 16 - Little Dreamer
  • Tuesday, June 13th - Jack
  • Tuesday, July 18 - No Worries
  • Tuesday, August 15 - Prickly Pear

Now, I know summer can be very busy!  If you are not able to make it to class, I will just collect your payment and hold your class until the next month.

Long distance?   will bill you monthly, and I will mail the kits twice.  I will send May and June pages in June, and I will send July and August in August.  This will save you $14 in shipping costs.  If you'd like to pay for the whole summer club at once, the cost is $144 plus $10 for shipping.  I will mail all four kits mid-July along with your $10 gift certificate.

This is an excellent way to keep up with your scrapbooking during the summer months!  You are going to be taking a lot of photos in the coming months, and this will help you get those photos off the phone or camera and on to pages!!  I am so excited about that!!

Just E-MAIL ME if you'd like to join in the fun!

Here's a look at June's Little Dreamer Workshop.  As you can see, it's not just about girls!

NEW Seasonal Expressions Book and My 6th Anniversary!

I am so excited about the new Seasonal Expressions Idea Book!

We have paper and stamps to cover all your favorite summer scrapbooking events:
  • Little Dreamer - unicorns, rainbows, playful images and colors
  • No Worries - beach, 4th of July, lazy days
  • Prickly Pear - bright, colorful, and just plain fun
  • Jack - fishing, camping, and rugged (you just might see a beard or two!)
We've got your card-making needs covered, too!

Today marks my 6th Anniversary with Close To My Heart.  I am so excited!!  I love Close To My Heart, and I love every day that I get to share and create with you.

Close To My Heart has changed my life in so many ways.  I had a team crop on Saturday, and I was almost teary so many times during the day.  I love watching my team members, and it's even more heart-warming that most of them didn't even know each other before they joined Close To My Heart.  They have become good friends through events, on the Rose Blossom Facebook group, and by spending time with each other.  The Rose Blossoms are such a big, happy family!

I love serving my customers.  Over time, I have been honored to learn more about their families and lives.  It's not all about selling product when you are a Close To My Heart consultant.  When I have customer crops, I love the time I get to spend with them.  My customers are such happy people with such interesting lives.  And boy, do I love watching them create!

Finally, I love the time I spend at Close To My Heart events.  I was at Team Builders in January, on the Puerto Vallarta Incentive Trip in February, and I will be going to the annual North America Convention in June.  Not only do I love my sister consultants (and boy, do I admire so many of them!), but I get to see the Home Office staff and thank them for the countless hours they put into making Close To My Heart what it is.

I feel very blessed to be hang out with all these different people at all these different times!  These relationships have made me more confident, (a little) less introverted, a better friend, and a more creative artist.  Close To My Heart is about so much more than paper, stamps, and ink.

Thank you for stopping in today, and I hope you have a most blessed day!!
