A Card to Share

I have been working on things you can't see yet, but I wanted to take a few minutes to put together a card that I could share today.

H2H Reveal and the Theme is Hot!

The theme of our challenge this week at Heart 2 Heart is HOT.  Design a project that makes you think of hot - whatever your interpretation of that is!  Of course, I thought of the sun!

Don't you love the frog shading himself behind the cloud?  These cute papers are Splendor and discontinued.  However, they are still available in Studio J!  The other products used are Tree Tops stamp set, a few Sparkles, and some matching waxy flax.

A Little Splendor

I am busy using up my discontinued CTMH Splendor paper, so I've got a few cards to show you today.  The first is for a sketch at Sassy Lil Card Sketches.  It's such a great sketch to work with!

The taught this lovely bloom at my flowers class on Saturday.  Such an easy and flower to make!  Basically you create a rosette and snip on the folds.  Makes a fun weather-beaten summer flower.

The second card is using the sketch at Cardabilities:

Another flower I taught that was really a hit!  It's just 8 crumpled scalloped circles put together with a brad.  Then you bring the crumpled layers up to form this shabby creation.

The last card I made was just for the fun of it because I had the paper out.  I love that cloud paper!

What a Beautiful Day!

I have just a quick card for you today.  I am off to run some errands for my new craft room.  Jerry painted it last night, so tonight we'll put up curtains and shelves, and tomorrow I will start moving in.  I can't wait to show you the finished room!

I've really been enjoying challenging myself to make ten minute cards.  This is another one that was easy, yet so pretty!  I used some discontinued product for this card - Splendor Level 2, Splendor brads and stickease, and Ivory organdy.  The sentiment is from a new set called Trees and Things.  That is a very fun set!  It has a tree ladder, tree swing, tire swing, chinese lantern, and so much more.  I can't wait to sit down and use it for some of Shane's playground pictures.
