This card is fun because it is so "pink." With a husband and son, I rarely get to work with the pinks, and this was a fun card to come up with! I used:
- Daydream Level 2
- Big Pinks
- White Organdy Ribbon
- Blush Ribbon
- Pretty Pin
- Autumn Garden Mini Medley
- Winter Craft Buttons
- Cupcake Sprinkles Stamp Set
When I saw this new stamp set, I knew I would have to pull out this favorite paper packet of mine. It was just the perfect paper for this 6x6 card.
- Silhouette Level 2
- Love Always Stamp set
- Cranberry Embossing Powder
- Black Embossing Powder
- Silver Embossing Powder
- Versamark
- Black Designer Ribbon
- Colonial White Designer Ribbon
- Stardust Level 2
- Believe in Your Dreams Stamp Set
- Wishing Star Stamp Set
- White Embossing Powder
- Versamark
- Moonstruck Ink
- Honey Ink
- White Photo Hanger
- Moonstruck Organdy
- White Grosgrain
- Prisma Glitter (pretty hard to see!)
Stardust Flexi-Labels
I am always trying to fashion a good man's card. I think tis is a HUGE challenge. Really. Look through your stamps. You are going to find a lot of cute stamps, flowers, kids, but not a lot of manly things. My husband is a tough critic, too, so I know if I run a card by him and he likes it, then it's gooooood.
- Emporium Level 2
- Intrinsic Backgrounds (don't you love that grass?)
- Adventure Stamp set
- Pewter Brads
- Natural Hemp
- Unforgettable Level 2
- Aspiration Stamp Set
- Sorbet Designer Ribbon
- colonial White Emroidery Floss
- Fancy Cut Botanicals
- Clear Buttons
- Colonial White Waxy Flax
I made this card the other day, but thought I'd add it in:
- Colonial White Textured CS
- Cocoa Textured CS
- Dessert Sand Textured CS
- Pewter Brands
- Colonial White Designer Ribbon
- Aspiration Stamp Set
- Intrinsic Background Stamp Set
- Sparkles

Nice cards - all very nice - while I like the pink one because I, like you, am surrounded by all boy stuff - I can't help but choose the one that is more masculine. You are right about how hard it is to come up with a really nice masculine card. I all too often resort to the exact same style for all of those occasions. But the Originals book is great and I have already used it several times.
Very nice cards.. I want to sit down and make a bunch, but I really need to sit and think about it first. I have been getting creating keepsakes magazine and this issue has had so many ideas for me... Different journaling techniques, and a cool scrapbook idea (that I really don't have the time for, but its a great idea)
Patti like the "Celebrate" card on top, too, Linda! That is very good Easter paper, I think.
Watch the new CTMH TV - you are going to NEED the Intrinsic Backgrounds stamp set after you see the demonstration on Stamp Kissing. FUN!
Jessica, don't stop journaling! And do it in your own handwriting as much as you can. I know that there are times that we just plain want typewritten things in our books, but we do need our handwriting in our books, too. Our kids (and their kids) need to see that! I'll have to look at my CK issue to look at the scrapbook idea you're talking about.
As always.....lovely work Brenda! Can't wait to start Reflections next month but maybe I'll have to fit in a few card-making Sundays as well! Thanks for sharing

I already have Intrinsic on my list for next month - love it!
