Thank You

I saw a sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge, and I loved it!
It is wide open for interpretation, and I like sketches like that.

Babycakes is a paper full of surprises.  If you look at it in the Idea Book, you may not give it a second look if you aren't doing anything involving babies.  Today, I made a thank you card, and I think the paper worked out really well!  I cut the accordion fold flowers on the Artiste cartridge, and I embellished those flowers with some discontinued Sunset buttons, and some Slate trinket pins.  The sentiments are from Scrapbook Statments and For a Friend.

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit today!  I hope you are having a fabulous week so far!

Brenda, I love how your card turned out. It is so stunning, and you would never know that the paper came from a baby line. Great verse....it is one of my favourite from that set. Thanks for joining us and playing along at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

I love that sentiment. I have another story to share with you. Back in high school (many moons ago), a friend did a speech on Maya Angelou. I had never heard of her before that speech, but all at once, everywhere I went, she was on the tv, the radio, in the Hallmark store even. I was so impressed with the wisdom this woman had and how much life she had lived in just her first 20 years. I greatly admire her, and love to hear her speak. Thanks for sharing your pretty card.
