Bloom Where You are Planted

This week over at Heart2Heart Challenges, the challenge is to make anything but a card.  It would be easy enought to make a page, but I thought I'd put together an accordion album for future gift giving.

I had two 4" square acrylic pieces, and I rounded the corners with my corner chomper.   The book is easy enough to make.  If you have 4" covers like I did, cut 2 strips that measure 3-3/4" x 12".  Cut 3/4" off the strips making them 3-3/4" x 11- 1/4".   Score both strips at 3-3/4" and 7-1/2"  Mountain fold both strips and overlap and adhere the end of one strip to the beginning of  the next.  Then adhere them to your cover.  Easy peasy!

All products used are CTMH - Caboodle Level 2; Tiny Tabs; Colonial White Grosgrain Ribbon; Primevera Rub-Ons; Bitty Sparkles; Sweet Leaf Swirl Clips, Buttons, and Brad
I made this flower by using my Slice Basics 1 card.  I cut (5) 2" flowers, (1) 1-1/2 inch flower and 2 leaves.  From there I laid them out and lightly misted them with water. I crinkled them into little balls and set them aside.  When dry, I inked the edges of the flower with matching ink (Crystal Blue, Sweet Leaf, and Sorbet), and put them together with a brad.  Very easy and very pretty!
I am tired, girlies!  I have had an extremely busy week, and my week isn't over yet.  Lots to do and just not enough time in a day.  I'm sure you can all relate to this at one point or another!  I went scrapping today with a friend (and had a blast!), but I didn't feel like I had any mojo, so I guess I'll put my things away and try again this weekend.  I have Sunday off, so I am looking forward to crafting some more then.

Have you entered my challenge yet over at Sketches4All?  Head on over there and see if you can create a page with my sketch.  I'd love to see you enter for the chance to win!!

I hope everyone has had a great week so far, and that you are looking forward to a fabulous weekend!
