The Great Outdoors

We have a special right now called The Great Outdoors.  There is also a workshop that includes two 2-page workshops and 4 cards is available with the special.  This special was designed to celebrate Canada's 15th anniversary with Close To My Heart, but I have found the paper and stamp set very useful!

I sat down to scrap a little more of our summer vacation to Grand Marais.  I created my own page using the cardstock and stamp set from the special.

I used the Hello USA digital cartridge for "Minnesota" and "Land of 10,000 Lakes." 

The Great Outdoors special includes 15 pieces of cardstock, 4 card bases and envelopes, and a stamp set.  The cost is $25.95 for all of the that!!

There is a link at the bottom of the workshop special page to create the specially designed workshop using these materials!  Or you can go your own way (like I did) and create pages that fit your needs.

Operation Smile Bolivia - And How YOU Can Help!

I am leaving in about 36 hours to go to Bolivia on an Operation Smile mission.  

I still have to pinch myself sometimes to know that this is actually happening!

Holiday Sparkle Christmas Card Workshop

I am so excited to announce a Christmas Card Workshop for October!

Holiday Sparkle creates 12 sparkly shaker cards (5" x 7"), and the kit is the special for October.  I created a little more sparkle by adding white and silver snowflakes.  The snowflakes are not included in the kit, but I am including them as an extra sparkly embellishment when you purchase your card kit from me or come to my class!!

More Magical Paper Pack and Bundle, Part 2

In my previous post, I shared a video of the More Magical paper and bundle. This is one of our specials through September 30th (or while supplies last).

I had never gone to Disney until I was a Close To My Heart Consultant.  You may be surprised to hear that I didn't even know what the fuss was about.  My first visit was to Disney World for Convention.  Oh MY!  It didn't take long to figure it all out.  So I will be using these layouts to scrapbook those memories and tell the story of what it felt like to experience everything there.

I made these layouts according to the workshop directions, but I'll tell what I added on each one.

Layout #1

I had purchase some die-cuts from Cricut and Miss Kate Cuttables to send cards to my downline that were attending Disney convention with me.  You will see those cuts on the first three layouts.  But I really love the grey diamonds and sentiment.  They are from the stamp set that comes with the More Magical bundle.

Layout #2

Don't you love those banners on this layout?  The mixture of papers is really eye-catching on this layout.  I can't wait to fill those photo spots!

Layout #3

Those delicate heart borders (retired Thin Cut) make me swoon along with the grey diamonds and sentiments!

Layout #4

What a fun starry layout!!  I used a Cricut Cut from Artbooking for the white stars and our Stars Thin Cuts for the red stars.  Do you see that grey castle on the right page - such a FUN stamp!!
