Live Beautifully 5-Layout Scrapbook Kit

I designed this kit very intentionally.  I wanted it to hold a lot of photos, and you can fit at least 37 photos in this workshop!  I also wanted you to be able to add any die-cuts you'd like that will match your photos, so I left a lot of space for that.  This kit is perfect for heritage, graduation, wedding, family, daily life - almost everything!!

Live Beautifully Card Class (In-Home and Long Distance Option)

May is National Scrapbooking Month, and we have a very special paper coming out called Live Beautifully.  I have a scrapbook workshop to share with you, but I also wanted to design a card class with some fun techniques!   We will be heat embossing our cards, and I bet by the end of the class, you will be a pro!!

Rose Blossom Blog Hop

Welcome to the Rose Blossom Blog Hop!  We are so excited about this one, and the sneak peeks have been fabulous!  I am excited to hop!

Today we are showing you the paper Some Kinda Wonderful.  It's bold, fun, and perfect for the upcoming months!  Now, to follow the hop is just a big circle.  No matter where you start, you just keep going till you get back to the beginning.

I've made a layout for you today.  This is my sister and her granddaughter, my little great niece.

I used an overlay from the Artbooking cartridge for the background.  This adds a lot of interest to a scrapbook page.  Because I used a honeycomb background, I added some bees!  You can find them on the Flower Market cartridge.  The clouds are a border from Artistry.  I cut it once in glacier and then one in the striped paper from Some Kinda Wonderful.

This was a relatively simple layout, but it was so much fun to make!  Now it's time to move on to Lynn!  I know she has some fabulousness over there for you to see!

Wedding Tags

Today I want to bring you Hello Lovely.  This is another paper that will be retiring on April 30th.  I've had a couple of questions asked of me lately:

"How do you use up all the complements?"

"What if I don't want to color stamps?"

I answered both of those questions by creating these lovely wedding tags!

I've used Hello Lovely complements as accent piece on the tags.  They are Sea Glass in color and are a lovely contrast to the Desert Sand ink I used for stamping.  The stamp I've used is the Hello Lovely cardmaking stamp.

Now, sometimes a stamp is just a stamp.  It doesn't need coloring, and it doesn't even need a shimmer brush (even if I do use them on everything!).  Anything other than Desert Sand ink on these tags would be too much.  Aren't they perfect for a gift wrapped in gold wrapping?

See possibilities in all your supplies and remember that sometime simple is just enough!

Seasonal Expressions Retiring April 30th

Seasonal Expressions 1 will be retiring on April 30th.  It's been a great 4 months with these papers and stamps, hasn't it?  I want to take a week or so to show you some of the fun things in the book.  Be sure to pick up what you'd like before it's gone!

First up is Dreamin' Big.  I think this is my favorite paper in this book!  I loved all of them, but this one seemed to match every type of photo and event.  I put together a fun Dutch Door fold card to show off this paper with the Dreamin' Big stamp set.

I stamped the butterflies with saffron ink and then rolled the edges in poppy.  Rock and roll is such a fun technique!

We Are Blessed

I like birds a lot.  Anyone can tell you that I watch them like crazy, listen to their calls, and love to take photos.  So Flock Together is a fun stamp set for me!  I dreamt about this design last night so after our yardwork was done today, I had to sit down and play with this stamp set.

I used the slice feature in Design Space to cut the hole in the front of the card.

I used Shinhan markers to color the birds - Golden Yellow, Light Cerulean Blue, and Tender Pink.  The paper is from Uptown and Adventure Fundamentals.

So next time you dream about a project, be sure to write it down so that you can make it!
