Have You Ordered Your Photo Christmas Cards?

I made mine in less than an hour this evening using Studio J!  During the month of November - just two more days - Studio J layouts are just $5.  This is a fantastic deal!  Let me show you how I chose to make my cards.

Being the "girl-always-looking-for-a-value" that I am, I chose to make 4x6 cards.  It is super easy to make any sized cards you want by choosing the "No Limits" pattern.  I added journaling boxes and added the printed paper from the Wonderland kit.  From there, I added a photo well with a mat to my cards and popped my picture in.  To finish it up, I put in a journaling box and added my sentiment and signature.  How easy!  I had my cards done in less than an hour!

Staying Warm and Cozy

We had big snowflakes today, so it put me in the Christmas mood.  I put some Christmas music on and decided to make a mini album for winter photos.

I've used the Designer Creations Short Stack album.  Its filled with 10 kraft pages that are 5 x 7 in size.  I've used Snowhaven paper and complements to decorate this.  Now I don't plan to show you anymore today.  As I fill the album with our winter memories, I will be sure to show you the pages!

Gratitude

I am finishing up my Thanksgiving cards, so I pulled out my very favorite stamp set for the fall.  It is called Always Grateful, and I am not sure if I like it for the sayings or the trees.  It is a lovely set.

I used Pathfinding paper, bronze shimmer trim, and gold bling gems to complete this card.  The tree is stamped with champagne ink, and the sentiment is stamped with barn red.  This is what the Always Grateful stamp set looks like:

Rose Blossom Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Rose Blossom blog hop!  This month, we are pleased to bring you some Holiday Decor ideas!  I have to tell you, I can hardly wait to hop to see what has been made!

I actually make a lot of holiday decor.  I am one of those people that puts every single ornament that Shane ever made on the tree.  I don't need a matchy-matchy tree.  I need a tree that holds our life's memories.  So although simple, this is what I put together for you today.

I cut the medallion ornaments with the Artiste cartridge using Snowhaven.  These can be used in all kinds of places for Christmas decorating.  They can hang on your Christmas boughs or tree.  They make wonderful additions to the centerpiece on your table.  The largest medallion is 5", so that gives you an idea of how large these are!    

Now I'll show you what I plan to do with them.  There are some greens on my scrapbook shelf, and I plan to nestle them in the greens.  (If you come back to my blog in January, you will find me using them for something else!)

Live in the Moment

I had to stop everything this morning and work on the Mojo Monday sketch.  The layout really inspired me, and I knew I wanted to pull out some glitter paper for this one.

I used Pathfinding paper, Pathfinding complements, Pathfinding assortment, Lifetime of Happiness stamp set, Gold Bling Gems, and Bronze glitter paper to create this card.  It's no secret that I love fall colors, and it was just a joy to put this card together.

I hope that you have time to just stop everything today and create.  It's good for the soul!

November Stamp of the Month & New While Supplies Last

It's time to tell you all about the November Stamp of the Month, It's the Little Things.

I love the delicate flowers, leaves, and especially the sentiments.  I used Artfully Sent to create a card base for the card I made.

The delicate flowers and vines in the cut of the card base were perfect for the little flower stamp.  I used purple glitter gems on the center of the flowers and finished it off with some thistle ribbon and a sparkle flourish.
