He Has Made Everything Beautiful

There is a new stamp set called Inspired Words, and it is my favorite stamp in the Annual Inspirations Idea Book.  It is a set of 21 inspirational stamps in beautiful fonts.  Let me show you what I made, and then I will share the stamp.

I am so glad the sun is shining today so that you can see the beauty of the Bashful Glitter paper.  I used a couple of other stamps on this card, too.  There is a triple line stamp on the Thanks a Million stamp, and I used that with Bashful ink to make the background of the card.  I embossed the flowers from Happily Ever After with white embossing powder on vellum, and then I water brushed the back with Bashful and Willow ink.  The diagonal stripe paper is from Basic Fundamental paper pack.

Rose Blossoms Blog Hop

We recently took a little getaway up to a lake in central Minnesota for a few days.  I am so thankful that when we only have a few days, we have such beautiful weather!  This cartridge was perfect for adding elements to a page!

I used the new Adventure Fundamentals for this page.  Wait till you get your hands on this watercolor-look paper packet.  Don't you think the Pacifica piece is perfect for the background?  I want a whole pack of that paper for out lake photos!  

I used the following keys to make my Cricut cuts:

K - the sun

M - fish and fishing pole

O - rest & relax

P - sunscreen

Sunshine Key - sunshine phrase

This will easily become one of my favorite cartridges!  It makes you want to go and do just so that you can make pages!!

Beautiful

The ten new colors are so beautiful!  I haven't had an opportunity to work with them very much so I thought I'd play with them for the next couple of weeks.  I pulled out my package of Basic Fundamentals and started cutting it up.  I pulled out my favorite Espresso patterns from the package and decided to mix it with a little Bashful, our trend color of the year.

Isn't it all so pretty?  The stamp set is called Beautiful You, and it is able to be purchased with or without a set of Thin Cuts.  I added some of the Basic Fundamentals ribbon (isn't it pretty - yes, I am asking again!) and the Bashful heart strip and gold heart nestled in the flowers are from the Better Together complements.

Make It From Your Heart Fundamentally Scrapbook Club

I am so excited to announce my Fundamentals Scrapbook Club!  Teaching Fundamentals class last year was one of my very favorite things to do.  I loved creating and knowing that you would be storing your memories on the pages through words and photos.  

So when we came out with a new Fundamentals line this year, of course I had to design a club around them!  I'll show you September's layouts first, and then I will tell you all about the club commitment.

Can you even how wonderful all those polka dots are?  I've used the the new Cricut You are Here collection to create embellishments for these pages.  Right after summer, I wanted you to have pages for your summer fun!

So here are all the details.  I've got a link at the end for you to contact me to sign up!

Make It From Your Heart Fundamentally will be the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm.

·      An 8-month commitment is required.

·      Join by September 1^st, 2017.

·      The cost each month is $32.00.

·      You can choose to join the club long distance.  A shipping charge will be added to your order.

·      We will use a lot of Cricut cuts during this year’s club.  Along with the Fundamentals and cardstock, you will see me using glitter paper, vellum, and/or our new silver and gold cardstock.

The total cost for 8 months is $256, and you will complete 32 pages!

Make It From Your Heart Fundamentally Scrapbook Club is a great way to budget your purchase AND use bunches of product from the Annual Inspirations Idea Book.

NEW THIS YEAR!!  PHOTO PRINTING

If you would like your photos printed and ready when you come class, I can do that for you on my Epson PictureMate printer.  I have used only this printer for the past three years because I love the quality of these matte prints.  The cost is $0.40 per photo.

I will let you know each month what the photo sizes and orientations will be for the following month.  E-mail me your photos no later than one week before class.  I will have them ready for you when you come to class and you can pay for them with your club fee.

I am adding this as a service to you so that you can go home with completed pages!

FAQs:

·      I will send an e-mail or Facebook message one day before club to remind you. 

·      We all get busy!  If you cannot attend one night for some reason, I will contact you for your credit card number for the following month’s payment.  If you would like your kit mailed to you, there will be an extra $7 charge.  NOTE:  It is important that I collect money each class night because that is the money I use to buy the class materials for the next month.  Thank you for understanding!

·      We will be using Make It From Your Heart Volume 3 for the base patterns of all of our layouts.  It is our new How-To book.  Because I pre-cut all the materials, I will not be creating cutting guides.  Rather, you will receive photos of the layouts with simple instructions. 

·      After we have completed one Fundamental paper packet, you will receive all the extras.  You will have remaining paper, ribbon, and complements to use as you’d like.

·      If you order the kit long distance, I can combine two months so that you save one shipping charge.  The long distance kits will be mailed the same day as the in-home class date.

Bump. Set. Spike.

The new Enchantment Fundamentals have such great designs for scrapping sports photos.

This young lady is my niece and she is such a sweetheart.  I don't see her near enough, but I sure do love her to pieces.  I was looking at these photos on Facebook, so I asked my sister (her mother) about her volleyball talents.  I wasn't surprised at all that she earned the Hustle & Heart award!

There are a couple of sheets in the packet that are two-toned.  I love this look for a background.  I think it adds a lot of interest to a page.  I've used the Pansy and Saffron papers from the Enchantment packet.    The new Color Block Alphabet was really fun to use on this page, and then I finished it off with Enchantment Fundamentals complements.

Isn't it cute?!  I love these stamps that make perfect 3x3 cards.  I made a couple to show you!

I stamped the images on a sheet of subtly patterned paper from the Adventure Fundamentals paper packet.  It is a lovely watercolored sheet, and it is light Tangerine on one side, and Light Emerald on the other.  I made these cards for my hubby's lunch. 

 (Yes, after 28 years together I still do things like that, and he still loves it!)
