Live in the Moment

I just love the Rustic Home Fundamentals paper.  We have a lot of wood and browns in our house because it is so soothing to us.  That's how I feel about this paper.

This stamp is in the Seasonal Expressions 1 Idea Book, and it's quickly becoming one of my favorites.  What a beautiful sentiment!

I used Rustic Home paper, Rustic Home ribbon, and the All Together complements.  I think this ended up being a very soothing card to send to a friend!

Sprinkled with Love

I can't believe it's almost the end of January!  Our featured paper collection in January is Sugar Rush, so I thought I'd make a card today for you.

I wanted to make a Valentine's card that is a little more masculine.  That can be tough sometimes, right?  I used Sea Glass ink to stamp the heart border from the Way to Go stamp set.  I used the Sugar Rush complements (heart, banner, and love).  I wrapped a little grey twine around the card and frayed the knot.  Those little dots are Sea Glass, and they are from the Sugar Rush Dots gems.

Now, about Sea Glass...

This is a trend color for the year, and we just ended 6 months with it.  If you like this color, you are want to purchase it!  I have found that Sea Glass works with all 40 colors in our palette.  It's really just that good of a color!

It comes in an ink pad, pigment ink square, cardstock, glitter paper, a 12x12 album, and a 6x8 binder.

Rustic Home Fundamentals Long Distance Scrapbook Kit & Consultant Option

If you've been following me, you know I've been working through all the Fundamentals in our Annual Inspiration Idea Book.  I've been teaching a monthly class called Make It From Your Heart...Fundamentally.  We've been talking about why scrapbooking is important, and why YOU are the only one qualified to tell your story.  I highly recommend that you follow Stacy Julian to learn more about your story telling.

Rose Blossom Blog Hop

Welcome to the Rose Blossom Blog Hop!  We are so glad that you joined us in the new year!  We have changed up our blog hop schedule a bit.  You will see us once a month on the 15th at 7:00 pm.  I hope that you will come to visit!

So let's look at some artwork.  I created a card box using my favorite in the book, and it's called Hello Lovely, and I've used the Workshop Your Way to complete this project.  I love the roses in this paper, and I love the calming feeling of the colors!

It was quick and easy to make cards with the complements, too!

On the two bottom cards, I chose to use sentiments from the stamp set in the Flower Market collection.  Other than that, this is all from the Workshop Your Way!  You can find the directions for the card box HERE.

It's hard to tell from the photos, but I have used the clear shimmer brush on all the flowers, and it is stunning!

Stamp of the Month Team Award

During the last couple of years, I have sent Stamp of the Month cards to team members for top sales, top team building, etc.  I decided that this year I would switch things up a little.  We carry the beautiful Everyday Life Albums, and they hold 6" x 8" layouts.  I thought layouts would be a perfect way to add these awards to their planners or albums.

This award is for November sales using the January Stamp of the Month.

These are the subtle colors in the Sugar Rush paper packet.  I used the silver side of the All About Gold Fundamentals for the circle.  The hearts were made using the Hearts Thin Cuts.  I liked leaving the floral stamp without color, and I wish I could effectively show you the clear shimmer on the petals.  That really adds a pop!

The two albums available for 6" x 8" layouts are the Everyday Stripe and Sea Glass.  We also sell memory protectors in that size so that you could easily do a mini album.

Be Mine, Valentine

I so love Valentine's Day!  I love having a holiday that celebrates love and friendship!

I made this card using Sugar Rush paper, cuts from Artbooking, and the January Stamp of the Month, Adore You.  I also put a little white glitter paper behind the heart banner, and of course, I used the clear shimmer brush on the hearts.

Be Mine, Valentine!

I adore the January Stamp of the Month, Adore You.  After all this time, I can't believe that you can purchase a stamp of the month for just $5 with a $50 purchase.  That is the best deal in town!

I used the Gold Shimmer Brush on this card.  It was a fabulous complement to the paper and design of the stamp.  If you don't have one, you'll want to make sure you get one of them!!

I stamped the main image directly on the pink Sugar Rush paper.  I colored the leaves with the Leaf Green marker.  Because of the triangle pattern on the pink paper, the stamped design was left with a fun look!  I love fussy cutting, so it was fun to cut that image at the top!

Oh what fun you will have with this stamp set!  I know you will create beautiful things!!

January Stamp of the Month

I so love the January Stamp of the Month, Adore You.  The flowers are pretty, the details in the small heart, the font in the sentiments - it's all gorgeous!

I stamped the large floral piece with Memento ink and then colored with with Shinhan Markers.  I used Leaf Green and  Turquoise Blue for the flowers.  I brought out my micro-tips and fussy cut the arrangement.  (TIP:  For tight cutting like this, I highly recommend out micro-tip scissors!)  The large dot paper is from Uptown Fundamentals, and I've used a bit of silver foil tape across the front.  I stamped the heart with pomegranate ink.  I love the mixed fonts in the sentiments!
