If you saw my post yesterday, you were able to see how lovely Seaside and Kraft papers are together. I've got one more card made with that combination to show you today that I made with the Artfully Sent cartridge.
I hope that you've had an amazing weekend! I am so glad that you stopped in today!

Thinking of You
It is very, very hard to make a card for someone when they have heard bad news or if they are suffering a terrible loss or illness. I decided today to let the colors of our paper and Artfully Sent do the work for me. This is one of the pop-up cards.
This glacier blue paper is from Seaside, and I used the simplicity of kraft to bring peace to this card. This is a 5" x 7" card, and I've used three keys to create this card. The majority of the card is from the "t" key on page 15. I found the butterflies on the "r" key which is page 14. I wanted to finish off the front of the card, so I used the pocket card on the "r" key, too, sizing it to 4-3/4".
One thing about making cards for someone is that it gives me time to think about and pray for that person. Next time you are making a card for someone, think about that, and think about what a special gift you are giving the recipient. It's not just paper glued together, but a mixture of love, thoughts, and prayers. I have ALL of the handmade cards I have received in photo file boxes. Maybe it sounds crazy, but it's like opening a box of blessings!
I've got one more to show you tomorrow, so if you have a chance to stop by, I'd love it!
Thanks for your visit today, and I hope you are finding your day most blessed!

The Sweetest - December Stamp of the Month
Cutie Pie is one the cutest stamp of the month sets! There are great sentiments in fun fonts. For this card, I used two of the stamps from the set - "the sweetest" and the small stamped hearts. I used the Keyboard Alphabet for "U R." I think the fun part of the card is the background. I used the new Heart Embossing Folder to create the depth, and I lightly sanded the embossed hearts. Other items I used are Brushed paper, Pixie Twine, White Shimmer Trim, and Pink Shimmer Trim. Such a sweet little thank you card!
The stamp of the month is always just $5 with a $50 purchase, and you have 5 days left to grab this one! Don't forget, with a $50 purchase in December, you can also choose any C or D sets from the Annual Inspirations book for just $10!
Thanks for stopping in today! U R the sweetest!!

Our yard really is very beautiful in the winter, so these photos were perfect for a Winter Wonderland layout. On the second layout, I had to finally scrap some photos of Jerry and Shane building a fort and playing in the snow - 23 years ago! Rose Blossom Blog Hop
It's time for the last Rose Blossom Blog Hop of 2014! This month we want to show you some artwork using C and D sized stamps from Annual Inspirations. During the month of December, you can choose any of the C and D stamp sets for just $10 with a $50 order. Oh what a deal!! So I've asked each of the gals to select their favorite stamp set to inspire you. I can hardly wait to see the ideas from these lovely and talented Rose Blossoms!
This is a circle hop, so you can simply follow the loop. If you are already following the circle, you should have come from Shelly's blog. There are only five of us in this hop, so it won't take much time to hop through!
I am starting off the hop with the December Stamp of the Month, Cutie Pie. This is an adorable cupcake stamp set, and I wanted to make it all about Christmas!
When my idea came together and the card was all done, I felt like I had spent some time in Whoville! I stamped the images and sentiments with black pigment ink so that they would be very bold. I embossed the white layer with the Dot Embossing Folder AFTER I stamped the hearts and sentiments. Oh I should tell you that "Warm Wishes to you and yours" is from the D sized set, Best Christmas. I used our Shinhan Touch Twin Markers for coloring - Carmine, Leaf Green, and Cerulean Light Blue. You know, had I been thinking Whoville from the start, there would have been three hearts on the card for the Grinch's growing heart! But I am getting sidetracked...
I pulled out my jar of long retired Prisma Glitter to put on the cupcake and plate. I also cut the plate down to make it a little shorter. The banner looked a little plain, so I pulled out my Typeface Alphabet for the "ho, ho, ho." I finished it off with some light green Epoxy Bubbles.
Remember the Stamp of the Month is always just $5 with a $50 purchase. There are a lot of deals to take advantage of this month at Close To My Heart!
Now it's time to head over to Lynn's blog. Without a doubt, I know that she has something wonderful for you! Here's the list in case you get lost:

Winter Wonderland
One nice thing about living in Minnesota is that it is beautiful. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, snow on a sunny day and hanging on the tree branches brings a certain peace to the air.
This is one of the layouts for my January Club that you will also be able to purchase long distance. I wanted those photos to be the star of the show, so the layout and embellishments are very simple. All I've used for this layout is Snowhaven paper, Snowhaven complements, Snowhaven assortment, and silver/black glitter paper. The Token Alphabet is retired (but one of my favorites).
I'll be back in a couple of days with my second layout for January and all the info for ordering!
Thanks for popping in today! I know how busy this time of the year is, and I just really feel blessed that you would come to visit me!

Heartstrings...Not Just For Valentine's Day!
Heartstrings is a beautiful paper filled with lowers and hearts. But I want to show you another use for Heartstrings. Let's take it to the Pacific Ocean and an amazing pool in Costa Rica...
I mostly used stamps for embellishment on these two pages. They are Beach Gear, Hello Summer, Keyboard Uppercase, and a hostess stamp set called Love This Story.
When it comes to scrapbooking, don't forget your stamps! Linger over your page, and enjoy the process! The other bit of advice I want to give you today is to really look at the paper in a Close To My Heart paper packet. You will find that each one of our packets has versatile prints. Who knew I could scrap the Costa Rica sunset with Heartstrings?
Here's what this paper packet looks like:
Thanks for stopping in today! I always appreciate your visits!

Simply Inspired Blog Hop
Welcome to the Simply Inspired Blog Hop! today we are highlighting product from the new Seasonal Expressions Volume 1 Idea Book. It went live yesterday, and it's loaded with fun, new, and must-have product! If you came here from Diana's blog, you are on the right path. This blog hop is a big circle so you can start here and work your way around. I know you will have fun being inspired!
There is a fun Valentine's stamp in Seasonal Expressions that I wanted to highlight for you today. It's called Love Ya Silly, and it has the cutest monsters and sayings! I saw this photo of my great-niece on Facebook, and I knew that Love Ya Silly was the perfect stamp set!
Ella is adorable, and that squished up face melts my heart! The sayings from the stamp set perfectly match that funny little face. I drew from the pink in her shirt and used Brushed paper, the matching assortment and inks as the base of this page. As you look closer, you'll also cute little puffy stickers and thick pink twine that is available in the Seasonal Expressions book.
Now it's time to move on to the next blog hop, and you are in for a treat. You are going to visit Michelle, and I know she has something fabulous waiting for you!
This is the stamp set, Love Ya Silly, that I used for this layout.

December Stamp of the Month - Cutie Pie
I really love the December Stamp of the Month, Cutie Pie. Who can resist cupcakes?
I stamped and then fussy cut two cupcakes to make the one. The white shimmer trim is new, and that added a little more pop to the cupcake. I know that many of you have been waiting for that color, and you will find it in the Seasonal Expressions book! You will also find this paper - Heartstrings, and I will show you ways to use it far beyond Valentine's Day!
I made 22 of these cute little cards yesterday to send to my team members that met a challenge. It's always such a treat to create for them, and this was the perfect stamp set!
The stamp of the month is always $5 with a $50 purchase, and this is what the whole set looks like:
And don't forget, when you reach that $50 you are eligible for the Deal of the Decade special!
Thanks so much for stopping in today!!
